“Why… just why?”

Sometimes an idea comes to me that just is impossible to let go of right away. And sometimes these ideas feel life changing and world changing. And those are great.

And sometimes they just make me laugh.

This blog is just for laughing: At us. At our situation. At how funny we can make it seem.

And when it comes to crazy things you can’t control, you can cry, pray, or laugh. Or maybe all of those. So take some time to laugh, even if it feels like the end of the world.

I was raised in and around the hyper-good-housekeeping culture. And I love the idea of still trying to be cute and southern and positive, even in a doomsday-type situation.

So when I moved to California at the end of 2019 and several months later the new COVID-19 coronavirus popped up, I found myself making DIY hand sanitizer.

I could not get past how funny it was!

And I wished I was on a Rachel Ray-type show describing how I would do it, smiling nervously.

Because seriously, I don’t want to DIE…. and, wow, how cute is this?!
